Worbla Transpa Art - 100x75 cm
- Transparent thermoplastic material. It is flexible but stable and retains its given shape well. It can have distortions in the shape of circles that level out when the material is heated. Should not pose any problems in forming.
Worbla Transpa Art (WTA)- transparent thermoplastic material from Cast4Art.
This material is extremely flexible, while retaining its shape very well. WTA activates at 120°C. We especially recommend working with rubber insulated gloves because there is a high risk of burns.
How it works?
Use a heat source such as from a heat gun (120°C) to transform this transparent material into the shape you desire. WTA can be activated repeatedly by reheating it. Like all products Worbla Art Series, it is classified as non-toxic and solvent-free product.
Snippets Worbla Transpa Artcan be 100% mixed with each other which helps to minimize waste. The leftovers can be used, for example, as modeling compound.
What it's for Worbla Transpa Art?
WTA is a transparent material that diffuses light therefore suitable for translucent or backlit designs. These can include props, ornaments, jewelry, crystals and much more. The only limitation is your imagination.
Worbla Transpa Art smooth and can be painted with any acrylic or spray paints but with this material, dyes or transparent films are most often used so that the material does not lose its transparency. However, if WTA is to be covered with paint we recommend using a primer for plastics or primer paint.
In addition, it perfectly complements other products Worbla Art Series like Worbla Deco Art or Worbla Finest Art. They can be bonded together and usually stick together very well, but in some cases it is also worth using glue.
What distinguishes Worbla Transpa Art?
First of all, the fact that it is transparent and activates at a higher temperature of 120°C. After kneading, the material becomes slightly milky but is still transparent, making it an ideal base for LED-lit projects. WTA can be dyed using fabric dyes. Another solution is to cover the finished item with a transparent film in the color of your choice. If you would like to combine Transpa Art into layers, we recommend using cyanoacrylate glue, hot glue or even a rivet gun.
It is not the easiest material to work with, so before starting work we recommend the following watching the official tutorial.
