What it Foam Clay?

Foam Clay is a special plastic mass that hardens in the air used in Cosplay projects. After drying, it remains soft and resilient, and the end result can be compared to EVA foam. The product is water-based, non-toxic and safe to use.

Allows molding of details and is light to work with. Once cured, can be used in conjunction with EVA foam or Cosplayflex. Once it's completely dry, you can sand it and trim it. With care, you can even gently mold under heat. It is great for creating intricate details, shapes and decorations.

How to use Foam Clay?

Both tools and hands can be used for molding. During prolonged use, the clay loses its elasticity. You can then reactivate it by adding a little water. Moist clay sticks to EVA foam. On the other hand, with a damp finger you can smooth its surface while the clay is still plastic.

Mass dries from 24 to even 48 hours. Depends on the size of the sculpture made. It usually takes several hours for the outer layer to dry completely, but when the layer is thick, the inner layer still remains malleable for a long time. However, this does not prevent the project from being finished from the outside.

Foam Clay can be used to fill large holes and seams in the foam although for filling smaller cavities we recommend it Flexi Filler from Flexi Paint.
