Worbla KobraCast Art - 50x37.5 cm
- White perforated thermoplastic material reinforced with a special mesh that is stretchable yet tear-resistant.
Worbla KobraCast Art (WKA)- the most versatile Worbla ever made.
This amazing product, like the world-famous Worbla Finest Art (WFA), comes in sheet form and is activated at 80-90°C, can be reactivated multiple times, and like the other products Worbla Art Series contains no solvents or any hazardous substances.
How it works?
Use a heat source such as from a heat gun (preferably between 80-90°C) to transform this versatile material into the shape you desire. WKA reactivates when exposed to heat. Like all products Worbla Art Series, it is classified as non-toxic and solvent-free product.
Snippets Worbla KobraCast Artcan be 100% mixed with each other which helps to minimize waste. The leftovers can be used, for example, as modeling compound. The product hardens quickly, and the adhesive contained in it allows for easy bonding WKA in several layers. This means that you can choose to work with two layers from the very beginning or at a later stage add extra elements on top of this previously formed one.
What it's for Worbla KobraCast Art?
Almost anything is possible with this versatile material. Surfaces with details, masks, headgear, costumes, armor, props and ornaments, and even jewelry, key rings or figurines. The only limitation is your imagination.
Thanks to the mesh it contains, it can be reinforcements for objects or even stand-alone props.
In addition, it perfectly complements other products Worbla Art Series like Worbla Deco Artor Worbla Finest Art. They can be bonded together and usually stick together very well, but in some cases it is also worth using glue.
Why Worbla KobraCast Art is unique?
WKA is highly stretchable but at the same time has a tear-resistant mesh inside. This enables the formation of advanced organic forms. Once cooled, it remains somewhat flexible so that detaching it from the mold or negative is not much of a problem.
The novelty of this material is that it can be sewn quite easily to other materials, i.e. leather, textiles or fur. Because it is very lightweight, it is ideal for stiffening structures and shapes such as handbags, corsets and many others.
WKA contains a strong heat-activated adhesive that makes it stick very well to itself and to other materials. Suitable for combining with EVA foam and creating intricate or simple decorative structures that will have smooth surfaces.
