Worbla Black Art - 75x50 cm
- Worbla Black Art is a versatile thermoplastic material.
- It is characterized by a fine texture and a very smooth surface.
Worbla Black Art (WBA)- it's smoother, it's black, it's beautiful!
This amazing product, like the world-famous Worbla Finest Art (WFA), comes in sheet form and is activated at 80-90°C, can be reactivated repeatedly and like the other products Worbla Art Series contains no solvents or any hazardous substances.
How it works?
Use a heat source such as from a heat gun (preferably between 80-90°C) to transform this versatile material into the shape you desire. WBA reactivates when exposed to heat. Like all products Worbla Art Series, it is classified as non-toxic and solvent-free product.
Snippets Worbla Black Artcan be 100% mixed with each other which helps to minimize waste. The leftovers can be used, for example, as modeling compound. The product hardens quickly, and the adhesive it contains allows easy bonding WBA in several layers. This means that you can choose to work with two layers from the very beginning or at a later stage add extra elements on top of this previously formed one.
What it's for Worbla Black Art?
Almost anything is possible with this versatile material. Surfaces with details, masks, headgear, costumes, armor, props and ornaments, and even jewelry, key rings or figurines. The only limitation is your imagination.
If you would like to smooth its surface, for this purpose you need only ordinary waterproof wood glue. Worbla Black Art can be painted with any acrylic or spray paint. However, for some paints, a plastic primer or other type of primer may be useful.
In addition, it perfectly complements other products Worbla's Art Series like Worbla Deco Art or Worbla Finest Art. They can be bonded together and usually stick together very well, but in some cases it is also worth using glue.
How it differs from the classic Worbla (WFA)?
First of all Worbla Black Art is perfectly smooth. This results in a nice and even surface without any additional work or touch-ups. It is pigmented black so that in many cases it will not be necessary to use a primer.
WBA due to its very fine structure, it stretches evenly, which is very useful especially when modeling three-dimensional shapes. With the right tools, you can make amazing and smooth surfaces and carve intricate details.
Black Worbla easily sticks together so it is suitable for joining several items just like the Worbla Finest Art. However, WBA may need a little more heat to fully activate.
