The EVA foam angle cutter is a specialised hand tool used to cut edges at an angle without the need for complicated machines or risky freehand techniques.
It is particularly useful in cosplay, model making and accessory production, where precise angles are essential for a perfect fit of armour panels, accessories or set pieces. The tool features a guide rail and an adjustable angle system that keeps the blade in line as it moves across the material.
This particular model is compatible with any standard 18 mm blade and has preset cutting angles of −15°, −30°, −45°, −60°, 90° and 15°, 30°, 45° and 60° positive.
What materials can be cut?
The bevel-angle foam cutter is designed for cutting soft and semi-rigid materials commonly used in cosplay, crafts and DIY projects. Ideal materials include EVA foam sheets (especially 2 to 10 mm thick), polystyrene foam, thin polystyrene (styrene), thick cardboard, thin plasticard, foamed PVC, XPS, modelling cork, balsa wood and other modelling foams.
It is not recommended to cut hard plastics, dense resin moulds or any materials with a metal backing.
